Hello Community,
am i right that if i have a Vmware ESXI (6.7) with path through network cards Broadcom 5709 and Intel Pro 1000 Cards do have Hardware CRC TSO and LRO?
Broadcom says they have some offload function in the specs and Intel too..
I accidentally had this always on but no i wanna dig a little bit into.. No problems over the last 4 or 5 years but i wanna get sure and ask
Many thanks in advance!

TSO and LRO are actually not recommended for a router. They an interfere with the packet forwarding work that OPNsense is already trying to do.
Checksum offload may have a small benefit. I've personally never been able to measure the difference. By default, OPNsense has all of these disabled on a fresh install.
