Traffic Reporting: Why do "Total In" and "Total Out" show the same value?

Menu -> Reporting -> Traffic -> Top talkers
No matter what interfaces i select, their "Total In" and "Total Out" show always the same value. For example LAN 1 has currently 90 KB "Total In" and 90 KB "Total Out". Even when transfering a large file through an interface, both table columns have the same value.
I assumed that "Total In" is the amount of data the OPNSense box received through the particular interface, and "Total Out" what has been send so far through that interface. If my assumption would be right, these two values are very likely never the same. But on my box they are always the same.
Reading the OPNSense documentation (
https://docs.opnsense.org/manual/reporting_traffic.html
) didn't help, besides mentioning iftop. So i looked at the iftop man page (
https://linux.die.net/man/8/iftop
), not sure if this applies to FreeBSD. That man page lists some "quirks" about "totals", but (for me) this doesn't explain my unexpected observation.
So what am i missing? Can someone confirm this observation?

I don't have an answer for this but, just wanted to verify that I can duplicate this as well on OPNsense 21.1.5.
