If I'm not mistaken in pfSense there's command prompt available in webgui. I can't find any plugin for it; is it available in OPNsense?

No. Would be useful tho. As would an ability to manage patches from the GUI

Security risk which was removed very early in the project. There is no adequate benefit of adding something other than maybe a CLI based on cfgctl/configd commands, but you don't get very far with these configuration-wise.
