I rebooted the OPNSense Box today and it got a new prefix.

Does your prefix only change when you reboot OPNsense? Then you might want to double check whether "prevent release" is enabled. This should allow you to keep the same prefix pretty much indefinitely and use it like a static one (unless your ISP enforces regular changes).
