Interface Description not saved in IPSEC1 (Policy VTI created IFC).
« on: February 21, 2021, 02:08:46 am »
I have created a route based IPSec (VTI) and it has created a IPSEC1 interface which is working OK.
However I found a bug that when you try to update Description for this interface and press save it is then gone after save updates the screen.
So even after Apply the description is not saved/stored.

I would like to rename my VTI based interfaces to ..._VTI.

Running OPNsense 21.1.1-amd64.

i've been told before to best never touch the interface config pages of VTI interfaces

iirc if you enter a description in either the P1 or P2 setting of your ipsec config, it will derive the interface name from there though. so that might be an option?
