Location of configuration file for Wireguard

New user to the forum here with my first question I've tried looking but can't find the answer...

The issue is my Wireguard instance starts up with the configuration as built by the web ui, which for several reasons did not end up well.
I've made a configuration by hand which works, but it always gets overwritten by the web ui-built configuration on  a service or firewall restart.

Where can I find the location of the configuration that gets loaded on the start of the wireguard service?
