Cannot upgrade pkg from OPNsense 20.7.4-amd64

I've been having a problem with updating.
At first it said there was a mandatory update to the pkg app, but it never would install it you say it was but it would never complete.
I don't know if it's related but the machine was acting weirdly, like I setup snmp and tested it fine only to find it disabled later.
So I factory reset the router and now when I try to update I just get
Timeout while connecting to the selected mirror.
I've tried the NY and DC mirrors, same result.

Any ideas on what I should do to fix this, or should I just wipe the drive and reinstall OPNSense?

So I decided to do a fresh install of 20.7, and I've done nothing but run the install script and change the root password.

I login to the WebUI to do all the upgrades needed and this is what I get, same issue still, just a different version of the output of the upgrade of the pkg package failing

I finnally got it fixed on my fresh install
I had to login via ssh and run pkg upgrade.
