Hi Guys,

I wish all of you a Happy New Year.
Now to my Question :P how can i make a exlusion for DNS Rebind Protection?

Greetings Neo

Hi Neo,

Have a look at System: Settings: Admin Access, Alternate Hostnames.

Or do you intent to exclude a specific client? That's AFAIK not possible right now, so you would need to disable the rebind protection at all. But why is that required for your setup?

BR,
Manuel

DNS rebind triggers when the network setup isn't completely coherent, like networks glued together on the LAN or some weird NAT. Problem is it can only be switched off globally and it probably never comes back on. You may want to look in network layout optimization to avoid having to switch off rebind protection.

For better or worse, this is just how they've made their SSL cert work for each lan instance I believe.

What server did you specify as exlude? I'm fighting this for over a year already.
Thanks
