Connection Layout issues

I'm new to building firewalls.  I cannot figure out or find anywhere of how to connect and get a connection.  This is the layout I would like:

ISP -> opnsense -> vpn router -> unmanaged switch -> computers

I can get it setup so my computer is directly connected but having issues with the vpn and switch.
