I renew a request that I see others have already made: is there any way to manage PC software updates like, for example, does IPFire do?
In my opinion, changes to Squid's configuration do not seem practicable to me because with the update of the cache you risk losing software updates, while without the update of the cache you also keep what is no longer needed for web browsing.

So I was wondering if there are other tools to support (other than MS WSUS), both for Windows and for Linux.
Or, I was wondering if it is possible to chain IpFire by deactivating all the security services and keeping only the Web Proxy function, at least for the management of its Update Accelerator.

Thanks in advance

There are checkboxes for Windows and common Linux package formats (RedHat, Debian and ArchLinux)
