symantec gateway 5420 IDE-TO-SSD conversor ATA FAILS

hello comunity!!  this is my first post

i have a symantec gateway 5420  with ide to ssd conversor, this conversor use JMICRON  JM20330 chip http://www.users.on.net/~fzabkar/temp/JM20330_Spec_Rev.-2.3.pdf

when i try to boot  in livemode i have ata errors. 

I try to boot with a normal disk ide in IDE0   and in IDE1 the conversor, boot ok in ide disk and  login to install in ide1 (ssd conversor) the install ok but when reboot same sense of live

the conversor works fine in windows plataform without any driver.

hi guys, i try change to 40pin cable to 80pin and ssd  conversor now work ok
