outband traffic on many IP addresses generated on fresh install

Hi
I see a strange behavior on a fresh install as a VM on proxmox
WAN interface and LAN interface are connected to 2 virtual bridges.
Why is opnsense generating an out bound traffic on many IP addresses? are these addresses stored in the code?
I put only a few below but there are a new one every second or so
thanks
10.10.2.199 is the WAN address
10.10.2.199.29011 > 192.58.128.30.53
10.10.2.199.64275 > 193.0.14.129.53
10.10.2.199.44271 > 192.36.148.17.53
10.10.2.199.30987 > 192.112.36.4.53
10.10.2.199.22920 > 199.7.83.42.53

These are DNS requests to the root servers. Nothing strange at all.
Cheers
