I'm trying to deploy VPN Basic with roadwarrior to connect to my business, i follow step by step the tutorial but doesn't work, is any issue with that? i have all upgraded and last firmware.

My client vpn is viscosity and my laptop macbookpro.

I configure step by step all three times... but nothing.

Try with your smartphone... use openvpn app...
So you understand if is a configuration problem or client problem

I can't find any export file for openvpn for ios. Maybe in previous versions but not in the latest, how to import then?

My error with simple ip direction on openvpn is:

"there was an error attempting to connect to the selected server openvpn"

Does the tunnel get established and can you ping the firewall tunnel IP from the client? What about the firewall LAN IP?

I've found Tunnelblick easier to use and definitely cheaper than Viscosity. https://tunnelblick.net

To download the ovpn file for a user, go to VPN, OpenVPN, Client export and click the cloud icon after the user name.

I use iPhone 7 and Just work
You need export the ovpn file
if you send it by mail, when you click on it, it will ask you which application to open it with.  select openvpn

Hi,

what export type have you selected?
Was it "Archive" ?

You need to select "File only"

It looks like you only took the .ovpn file from the archive format. This can't work because it refers to the certificate file.

With the "File only" format it has everything inline and should work.

It works import on Mobile, but Now says "There was an error attempting to connect to the selected server"

Check the configuration file.
Maybe you have the wrong server IP in the configuraiton.

This can happen if you have your firewall behind a router and you did not select the correct IP or hostname for configuration export.

You can edit the server ip in the configuration and import it again. Maybe this helps.

If not please post the output of your client if it has a log.
