Broke my webui
« on: August 02, 2019, 11:44:42 pm »
Hi.  I'm running 19.7.1.  Last night I imported a Let's Encrypt wildcard certificate, and assigned it to the web management interface.  I immediately lost access to webui, but I am still able to ssh to the OPNsense firewall, and it is running my ruleset, but I am obviously unable to manage it.

When I restart services, I see:

Starting web GUI...failed.

Can anyone help me with changing the certificate on the web gui from the CLI?  Or am I better off to reset and reconfigure?

Thanks in advance.
S

EDIT: I was unaware that OPNsense keeps daily backups.  I was able to restore one of these through ssh.  I'm back up and running now.

The default web server of OPnsense is called lighttpd and you may try to start it manually to get an idea why it is failing.
