Hi,

I'm currently using pfSense and I consider moving to OPNSense.
I have recently tested OPN 18.7.8 and have tried to move my settings.
I liked OPN 18.7.8 but for some reason, my NAT rules didn't work anymore.
I didn't have time to investigate this.

Easy rules (add to block list/pass this traffic) is the main pfSense feature I really miss on OPN.
I think I'll wait a few more months before moving to OPN...
Please add Easy Rules !

Thanks

@mimugmail: If you click on a block log entry, you can add a pass rule and vice versa. This feature existed on the older firewall log pages, the new ones does not have it anymore.

@fabian: Are you sure that "Easy rules" existed on the older OPNSense firewall log pages??
By the way, pfSense is currently running FreeBSD 11.2-RELEASE-p4 and still have "Easy rules".
OPNSense is currently running an older version of FreeBSD, correct?

What is easy rules???

It's a very convenient way to add rules to your Firewall directly from the Firewall Log without mistakes

this has nothing to do width freebsd, it is just our "new" frontend which does not have this feature.  I am pretty sure that older releases had it.

ok, then I'm really wondering why this convenient feature has been removed from OPNSense (if it has) ?!

Hi! I've moved from pfSense to OPNSense 19.1 since a few days and I'm very happy, no regret.
I just miss Easy Rules.
