[SOLVED-user error :)] How to update to 17.7.12 and not 18.1

I'm trying to update my one system to 17.7.12_1 (latest 17.7) and not to 18.1
The GUI just says no update available (although it shows 17.7.12)
I did try the TUI which notes that there might be minor updates, but I get a nothing to do, all packages are up to date.
I'm using the default repositories, what am I missing?

PS. I did scan the forums and docs, but couldn't find anything obvious.

Nevermind, I was being an idiot. My test system was on 17.1, after doing the normal upgrade (which looked like it would take me to 18.1) I landed on 17.7.5, then did a normal update to 17.7.12_1.

Hi there,

Yes, updates are hop-on hop-off so you get the chance to not do a major upgrade. It also helps to review changes between major versions as jumping from 17.1 to 18.1 would be more likely to cause an incompatibility than doing it step by step. :)
