Hello all,

I know just enough to get me in trouble and I wanted to nail down the correct procedure before I step into it so I don't kill my internet.

Currently my ISP has me on a CGNAT IP address. I can purchase a static IP address for $5/mo. They are going to provide me the IP address, subnet mask, and gateway IP address.

Please check my steps to make sure I get this right so I am not left without internet.

Step 1: Under Interfaces/WAN, change IPv4 Configuration Type to Static IPv4.
Step 2: Enter the IP Address they give me in the IPv4 address field. All of the tutorials I have seen show to add a gateway from here but all I am shown is IPv4 gateway rules is Disabled.
Step 3: Under System/Gateways, disable the current gateway and add another one using the IP address they gave me, tick the upstream gateway option, and link it to the WAN interface.

Does this look correct, or do I need to do anything else? Any help is greatly appreciated!
