Monitoring IPs with multiple wiregards

Hi, I have 3 different 3VPNs implemented with a gateway group (to get failover).
My problem is that randomly, the Monitroing IP is no more pinged through the correct VPN.
As monitoring ip I am using the same gateway address of each VPN gateway. Doing a trace route from my pc, the first hop is always 10.2.0.1 for each of the three VPN connections (therefore cannot be used). Should I use a different addresse?
Once the first gateway is offline, if I change the monitoring ip to 9.9.9.9 the ping restart and it is again online.
How should I create a rule to properly fix the route of the pinging to each of the three Monitoring IPs?
In addition: when the system ping one of these Monitoring IPs, from which IP start the request?
Thank you very much
