Linking two remote LAN's together with a network Bridge?

I would like to link my home network to my parents network with some sort of bridge, can this be done with OpenSense? Maybe using OpenVPN, IPsec, or Wireguard?
I need to be able to share resources in both directions.

An overlay network works well in this scenario. I am very happy with Tailscale.
You don't need any infrastructure at your parents - just install the client on whichever device (phone, NAS, laptop, etc.) you want to connect to your LAN.
