Please explain different versions

Why are there so many different iso images for download?
Some of them are explained here
https://opnsense.org/users/get-started/
but not all of them. Please add explanations for each image to the download page, THANKS!

Also the fleximus.org mirror does not work, it just shows the same page when I click on one of the image files, nothing will be downloaded.

Just to explain it, the first experience with opnsense for  any interested user is like this:

• oh, maybe intersting firewall product, let's test
• dig into why there are so many different versions
• learn, that the team does not explain it in the most obvious place (download page) - first annoy point
• learn that even in the getting started documentation it is not fully explained, second annoy point
• decide to download anyway just the first version listed
• go to fleximus mirror and experience that download does not work - third annoy point
• close tab, stay with old product, forget about it

Fleximus mirror will be suspended from the download page until it's properly synced.
