i have 2 gateways - 1 Virgin media and one using a sim router

I have spent a lot time on my issue.
I have a VM router (modem mode) which I can get working ok. It uses DHCP
I also have a backup mobile SIM router which I can get working by setting up a gateway definition pointing to it. In this case I define the WAN as having an ip address of 192.168.1.2 and get it to point to the sim router 192.168.1.
The trouble is I can only get either to work using the wan interface port and I can't have 2 wan interface definitions active at the same time. I cable the WAN port into a hub. So the hub has 3 cables in. One to the f/w, one to VM router and one to the sim router.
At the moment I don't want anything fancy like automatic fall over. I anticipate running normally with the fast VM router and having the sim router gateway statement disabled. When VM fails(and it does sometimes) I anticipate powering up the sim router and enabling the gateway statement pointing to it.
At the moment to switch from VM to the SIM router i redefine the WAN interface.
There must be a better solution to this?
However I am stuck. Any pointers?
