vnstatd plugin complaining of too much traffic

Have only noticed this recently. Its filling my logs with

vnstatd Traffic rate for "xn0" higher than set maximum 10 Mbit (30s->40894464, r793873 t42004161, 64bit:1), syncing.10mbit is really low. I cant find a place to set this higher either in the GUI or a conf file. Anyone adjusted this before?

I'm using it but not from plugins. I installed it from opnsense binary package repo.
I have a config in /usr/local/etc/vnstat.conf where there is a section for vnstatd where it seems that the traffic rate can be altered.
