How to make WAN interface reachable from ISP

I hope the description is clear. My current set up is for a home based lab where the current WAN interface is on a separate 172.16 network. I then have 4 LAN interfaces on various 192.168 subnets.
I want to set up HAProxy so that a web application on LAN1 is able internet facing.
I am following this tutorial (amazing work BTW) but I think need to either configure a second WAN interface or something.
