Route IoT Device with Fixed Source and Dest Address

I have a wireless IoT device that has a static IP of 192.168.0.123. It connects to a server with an address of 192.168.1.124. The device address cannot be changed nor can where it expects to connect to the server. I can put the server on any subnet with any address. I have several VLANs and have gotten rid of the 192 address range but could resurrect it if needed.

Ideally, I would like to route this device so that it connects to a server on a 10.X.X.X subnet. I wrote both the IoT device SW as well as the server software, but can only change the server side. Next time I will use DHCP and DNS, but I am stuck with what I have. Any pointers would be much appreciated!

Hi

When you create the 2 Networks /Vlans you must have Firewall Rules to allow the traffic between this devices.
The Default is only that when you install opnsense the LAN interface have a allow all and all other networks have a deny all.
Create the Rules start the DHCP and DNS and it will work.
