Nintendo Switch: Minecraft Online problems

Hi,
I switched from a FRITZ!Box to the OPNSense about a week ago.
I'm also really happy with the decision, could solve all the "problems" so far also the general
Online Gaming with my daughter's Nintendo Switch.
Except for Minecraft on the Nintendo Switch....
I created an outbound NAT for the Nintendo Switch which puts it on a Type B Nat, but no matter what I do I can't connect to any Minecraft servers, it always comes up with the message No connection to the world.
Does anyone have any advice for me?

I don't know what Minecraft requires specifically but i do know that Mario Kart is P2P and thus requires UPnP in order to dynamically open up ports from the outside in. There's a plugin for that called os-upnp. It should be pretty self-explanatory.
As far as i can tell this one will only work if your WAN interface is directly connected to your ISP i.e. holds the actual public IP address(es). If you have double-NAT or other shenanigans, or CG-NAT from your ISP, you might be out of luck. If it worked before with your Fritzbox though, you should be able to get it to work with OPNsense aswell.

Mario Kart P2P works for me even with the outbound NAT rule and doesn't even need upnp, but Minecraft has problems even when I release the full port range.
And that amazes me.
If I open a wifi hotspot via the cell phone, the Switch even gets only a Type D Nat but Minecraft works, all very strange... I can not figure out what is wrong with me
