[Feature Request] Automatically set the keymap upon the installation of OPNsense

Hello,
In the current version of OPNsense 21.7.1 the installer offers the user to set the keymap for the duration of the installation.
However this keymap setting then is not being saved to the installed system. This setting only effects the installer.
After OPNsense is installed, it defaults to an en-us keymap.
This can and will cause problems for users who operate non en-us keyboards.
For example it can be impossible to enter the root password on the shell which has been set during the installation process due to different special keys.
This issue was already briefly discussed in
https://forum.opnsense.org/index.php?topic=5019.0
but there was no suggestion regarding improving the installer and due to the age of the issue it is already archived.
--> Therefore I'd like to suggest a new feature where the selected keymap during the installation will also be the default keymap on the installed system.
Regards
Lenard

Hi Lenard,
Thanks, this was previously brought to our attention but since this would only matter when we release new images it was moved to 22.1 queue:
https://github.com/opnsense/installer/issues/19
I'll make a note in that ticket about this forum report.
Thanks,
Franco
