OPNsense Keeps Giving WLAN as 0.0.0.0/8 for address in Bridge Mode.

Hello I am new to OPNsense or any type of FW but I managed to install OPNsense correctly but  when I put my Modem Technicolor TC8717T, and I placed the Modem into bridge mode and also disabled firewall.

And then tried addressing the interfaces again but the Ip is giving me 0.0.0.0/4.


I also tried contacting my ISP and they cant help me since I am using my own equipment.

Anyone has anything simmilar that happened to them? any help would be appriciated.

In PREINIT phase your WAN receives 0.0.0.0 but then that means your ISP is not giving you a real IPv4 in the end. Some option might be missing -- best to talk to them directly and tell them if they don't know why they don't offer an IPv4 via dhclient they shouldn't be called "ISP". ;)
