Not able to leave CARP Maintenance mode after update to 21.7.4

Hi,

yesterday I updated the slave, today the master.
I entered CARP maintenance mode and aupdeted the master.
After the update I tried to leave the maintenance mode, but nothing happens.
Only the button on top showns now Enter the maintenace mode.
But everything stays at BACKUP.
I tried it several times, nothing hapopens, only the button text toggles.

Any idea?

Disable preempt is disabled since we use master/slave.

I can see in the syslog:

Nov  5 15:10:33 OPNsenseMaster kernel: carp: demoted by -240 to 0 (sysctl)

So leaving should work.

Entering again:

Nov  5 15:11:13 OPNsenseMaster kernel: carp: demoted by 240 to 240 (sysctl)

So I have to check if the CARP packets reaching the slave.
But as always ... I changed no rule ...

After an additional reboot of the master it was working.
Strange.

Additional remark:

I defined a Group in the Firewall called CARP where all CARP interfaces are members.
The corresponding rule allows the CARP packets.
Maybe this has something to do with it.
