DHCP Server stops assigning leases

Having a problem where the DHCP server stops assigning leases.
Checking the DHCP server log at the time stamp near when users report network issues shows a few of these:
2022-01-20T12:37:15 dhcpd[6987] Wrote 509 leases to leases file.
Is there another log I can check around that time to see if anything else looks out of place during that time?

Hi
Does the DHCP server replies with DHCPnac to the clients?
That should be seen in the DHCP log on opnsense router.
If so, it could be that there are more clients on your network than IP addresses in the DHCP pool.
Best regards Geir
