Slow Download Speeds

Hi all
I need some help. I live in Brazil and my ISP Vivo just changed my MODEM/Router. I have a fiber 300/150 connection, that used to be pretty stable in terms of perfomance in both directions.
After they changed the MODEM/router (I have a double NAT, always had) the maximum download speed I can get is 160, the upload is fine. If I connect myself direct to the MODEM/router equipment I do get the full speed.
If I connect the MODEM/router directly to my network I can get full speed.
I have 2 FW in HA mode. I have tried with each one alone, same results. I have change cables and ports at the MODEM/router, same results. I tried to put the MODEM/router in bridge mode, same results.
I have rollback to 21.7 version, same thing.
The ports seems to be running in giga speeds, flashing orange and green.
I'm kind of lost now.
What can I try next ?

What kind of hardware are you running OPNsense on?

In theory there is no difference between theory and practice. In practice there is.

It’s a Proxmox VM running in a i7 with 6 cores and 32gb ram. The vm has all cores and 16gb. The nic is the virtuo one, but I’ve tried with e1000 with no luck.
Important to say that before the MODEM change, it was the same vm. In terms of performance or bottlenecks I’m seeing none.
It’s like when the modem sees a device that have other devices behind it, it throttles it reducing the bandwidth. I looked in the modem but qos is disabled.

Some ISP's have different modems for different speeds. If you upgraded to a newer speed, the old modem was not capable of handling the more "links" (forgot the term). So, the modem needs to be changed that can handle them. I would lake your provider what modems are compatible with your speed and check if your modem matches.
