'www' will bypass Conent Filter

I just loaded OPNsense to review for replacing my pfSense firewall. So far I like it. However, I've noted one issue I can't seem to get around so far...
I have configured the Web Proxy, set for Transparent (HTTP only right now), and configured a blacklist (using Shalla List). If I type "
http://playboy.com
" into FireFox or MS Edge the default block page is displayed. If I just type "playboy.com" (FireFox and Edge will prepend 'www' automagically) or if I manually type '
www.playboy.com
' the content filter will allow the site. I would think/hope that the content filter is looking at the base domain name for filtering.
Am I missing something here? I've been searching the forums and Internet for any insights on this and haven't found anything yet.
Thanks.
