Hello all,

I have developed a GUI theme for OPNsense.  It uses a modern flexbox layout, has a light and high contrast dark variant (respecting the user preferences set in the browser) and aims to address some usability/ergonomic issues for those of us with grey beards and less than perfect vision.

I have been running it on my systems for some time but it is an initial release.  Any comments, feedback and bug reports are welcome and appreciated.

As a grey haired model myself I do enjoy your theme, just installed it and it does respect the browsers light/dark setting! A more contrast and bigger text then other (dark) themes (I did them all), thank you for your work!

In Dark Mode: What I can't read too well is, e.g. Firewall: Diagnostics: States, the 'States' | 'Actions' thingy, the selected one is dark/black background and dark-blue text. The same goes for e.g. the Dashboard 'Click to check for updates' and so on all have the same dark-blue text color which is for me hard to read against a black background. Does that color combination work well for you?

I'll look into these, thank you for reporting them.  If you could post a screenshot or two of the bits that are hard to read for you that would be helpful in adjusting the colors/hues.

Of course, I forgot about screenshots for a moment :) ... I'll update this post later, but it's basically the dark blue in your dashboard screenshot, in the Gateway widget, the color of the name of the gateways like 'WAN_DHCP', 'mullvad_gw', etc.

Firewall: Diagnostics: States - States | Action => 'States' text

The contrast between the black background and the dark blue text is not optimal for me, but then it's maybe just me.

I prefer dark mode and I find the blue is easier to read than the orange.

As noted a little more contrast for the blue would help.

your ssl certificate is expired...

IDK if you're still working on this but I got to try it and it's a very good theme. easy on the eyes that the orange but I always liked cicada theme. it has been my go to theme any time I reinstall opnsense. having said that, I think unsense would rival cicada for me if you to fade the blue color. maybe make it kinda unifi blue, I think it would make it easier for certain folkes ( I am one of them) to be able to read the blue text.
Thank you for making unsense theme.

Cheers,

i think i found a bug on your nice looking theme..
on System -> Firmware -> Status Page

Im unable to do the "resolve plugin conflicts", "run an audit" and the others Cleanup, Connectivity, Health, Security, Upgrade...
when you click of any from the menues you can see that under the menu a drop down menu want to came out...
but you're unable to see or click there something,
on the right side, there came a scroll bar.
and then you must scroll down to do the checks

see picture one and two
one - (after clicking)

two - after then scrolling down.

AND, under Plugins the unsense plugin is listed after install as "misconfigured"
