This is how my OPNsense install goes :

- Grab my Laptop running a Linux distro.
- Open the OPNsense website in Firefox.
- Download the VGA image.
- Open Konsole/Your favorite Terminal.
- 'sudo su' so you can destroy disks !!
- Unpack the VGA image :
# bzip2 -d OPNsense-26.1-vga-amd64.img.bz2- Use DD to write the VGA image :
# dd if=OPNsense-26.1-vga-amd64.img of=/dev/sdb bs=4MiB status=progress
And then Safely Remove once done from the menu of your Desktop Environment which might tell you that it can't read the USB Stick anymore because it can't read the new filesystem :)

Really sweet piece of software to have a bunch of UEFI Boot capable Live! ISO images available at any moment indeed !!!
Weird guy who likes everything Linux and *BSD on PC/Laptop/Tablet/Mobile and funny little ARM based boards :)
