Why is default 7 everywhere?

It's a bit annoying that all lists in Opnsense is defaulting to 7 entries. How can this be changed on a system level, and why was it 7 to begin with? Otherwise it has to be changed for every screen in every browser...

Wasn't that changed in 25.7.3 ?

I had the same question some years ago. No reply.

Why not 42?

Most pages got the change in 25.7.3 indeed. Somebody (Cedrik) worked on it based on the large amount of work somebody else (Stephan) did before.

Some exceptions still apply where multiple grids are on the same page or for Frank's plugins (haproxy and acme-client) for him to release them on his schedule.
