Domain base routing thru VPN tunnel.

I have setup a OpenVPN (with NordVPN) tunnel to Japan and tested working. When I setup the Rules to redirect certain domain to pass thru VPN tunnel, it return inconsistant result. Below is what I have tried.

1. Setup Alias (Hosts) with domain name i.e whatismyip.org / whatismyipaddress.com / showmyip.com / youtube.com
2. Setup floating rule redirect to VPN. Results are whatismyip.org & whatismyipaddress.com does return an Japan address. But showmyip.com & youtube.com still stay in Canada

3. Setup Alias (Hosts) with domain name i.e whatismyip.org / whatismyipaddress.com / showmyip.com / youtube.com seprately, one per entry.
4. Setup floating rule redirect to VPN indiviually. Results are whatismyip.org & whatismyipaddress.com does return an Japan address. But showmyip.com & youtube.com still stay in Canada.

repeat step 2 & 4 with Lan rules. result are exactly the same. First I think there is something I done it wrong, but when I disable those rules, both whatismyip domain connect back to Canada. Enable it will then connect to Japan at once. Only showmyip.com and youtube.com remain in Canada at all time. Checked on OpenVPN connection status, it has data pass thru.

Tried those in both Normal & Private Session browser, result is the same. two go two no go.
Tried with Chrome plug-in VPN, all site are connected to Japan. Disconnect, it revert back to Canada.

Could someone shed some light which part I should look for?
