Hi all,

Suricata 3.2.1 came out today and we've put up a test package for amd64:

# pkg -fA https://pkg.opnsense.org/snapshots/suricata-3.2.1.txz

This one is compatible with 17.1.

There is, however, good news for all the Suricata users with Hyperscan trouble on non-SSSE3 CPUs: starting with Hyperscan 4.4.0, Suricata will (at least that is what I understood from the release notes and patches) select the appropriate default and prevent Hyperscan loading when inappropriate, which should obsolete the need to a separate "suricata-no-hs" package some of you have been using. This change will make it to 17.1.2 on a separate track. Testing looks good so far.

Cheers,
Franco

AAaaahhhhh my kids can't stream Netflix!

Just kidding. Seems fine so far  :)

Taking this as a good sign, thank you Ean.

It'll be in the 17.1.2 builds, pending final testing on Tuesday.

I've been running it all week on my home box. Nothing weird in the log files. No angry wife or children. Looking fine to me.

No signs of trouble on this end as well. Closing this, thank you! :)
