DynDNS on OPNsense or on the provider router?

Hey,
is it better to set up DynDNS directly on the OPNsense or on the provider router for the wireguard road warrior?

Set it on the device that holds the public IP address. Any other device will have some lag after an address change.

ok, thanks! Are there some security points about that, or is it just about the lag?

DynDNS has minimal security issues since it is an outbound connection.
