OPNsense and Two Public IPs

Hello all,

MY OPNsense server is setup for the public IP I have currently, but I have the ability to add a second IP from the same subnet. My thought was to separate my test and prod services across the two public IPs. Since I have already created an interface for the first public IP do I need to build another interface for the second IP, even if its coming off the same subnet as the first one? A little confused as to what to do here.

No you just add a virtual IP alias to the WAN interface.

Ohhh wait a sec...my public IP is static, so the IP alias does not show up...its only when using a DHCP assignment...ughhh!
