Problems with Nested Aliases

I think I broke Aliases in my firewall config.  I don't know if I'm just doing something that's not supported or my config is broken.

I have a bunch of ip addresses (22) that are each assigned an alias.
I then have a single Alias that contains these aliases called "Staff".
That "Staff" alias is in a WAN firewall rule.
This rule works, but I can't add more aliases to the "Staff" alias.
And in the "Aliases" list, the "Staff" alias shows 22 in the "Loaded#" column.  But when I edit the "Staff" alias I count only 17 aliases.

This issue has persisted through several new versions of OPNsense.  I am on OPNsense 24.1.2_1-amd64 currently.

Any help on how to resolve this would be appreciated.
