Hi Guys,
my currently version of Opnsense A10 is
Code:
[Select]
OPNsense 16.7.5-amd64
FreeBSD 10.3-RELEASE-p9
OpenSSL 1.0.2j 26 Sep 2016
however trying to install the latest updates on the box but its keeps back with connections error.
We have two of those A10 on productions running fine and both are patched fine beside this one.
Can you please advise how to fix this.
edite : i have rebooted the firewall and tried again and the updates starts working , thank you

I take it it's a connection error to the mirror?
Perhaps try a different mirror to see if that helps?

We'll need a bit more info here: what error exactly, which mirror.

Specifically for rackg: I've seen this in VMs too, but I haven't been able to pin this to something concrete.
BTW, using the pkg tools manually will not update the base and kernel. You should at the very least run:
# opnsense-update
If it prompts for reboot, you must reboot, too:
# /usr/local/etc/rc.reboot
The same sequence is automated with the console option 12.
Cheers,
Franco
