Unable to access DEC750

I was setting up a remote DEC750 yesterday (brand new) and when I went to enable IPsec I lost access to the web GUI. I was able to access the terminal via the USB cable but I disabled the root account and created two new admin accounts a primary and a backup, and when I try to log in with either of them I get "This account is currently not available". Have I painted my self into a corner here? Will I need to reload OPNsense?
