Do you want a network with only VM's for testing purposes?
The default OPNsense LAN address is 192.168.1.1, as mentioned when booting the first time after installation, and every reboot.
Hobbyist at home, sysadmin at work. Sometimes the first is mixed with the second.

The OPNsense VM and your client must be in the same network - maybe you have to adjust the adapter settings.

Please tell me how? :)

You try with the Virtual Network Editor and configure for NAT in Change Settings options and late configure the ip and dhcp, you can use you eth0 (wan) bridge, eth1 (lan) nat and client winxp in nat. please tell me if this work
