Intrusion Detection stops itself

Hello,

We are using OPNsense 21.7.3_3 as a VM. It has 1 processor, 2 cpu and 4gb ram. I notice that memory usage increases and then Suricata stops. Is increasing the memory a solution or how to solve it in dfifferent way? Thanks.

You need more memory for whatever you try to do. Check "dmesg" output for out of memory kills...
