make manual changes to FreeRADIUS permanent

Hi,
I am new to OPNsense so maybe this is a basic question.
I just made manual changes to FreeRADIUS over SSH, but when OPNsense reboots it overwrite all my changes and added files, how can I prevent this from happening?
I need to make those changes manually since everything is not possible through UI.

So, seems it is not possible without modification to OPNsense itself?  :)
any help appreciated.
I don't want to make an ugly hack like extracting my files after OPNsense boot:D
