Stability of Azure Site-to-Site VPN using OPNsense?

I'm considering switching from pfSense to OPNsense. Before making the switch, I was wondering if any long-time OPNSense users might be willing and able to share their experience regarding a specific use case. Specifically, I'd like to hear from OPNsense users who have done all of the following:
Configured OPNsense firewall to protect their on-premise resources.
Configured Microsoft Azure to host "cloud" resources
Configured an "always-on" connection (i.e. site-to-site VPN) between their OPNsense firewall and their Azure gateway or firewall
I'm interested to know how stable their connection has been between OPNsense and Azure. In other words, I'd like to know if they've had issues with the connection dropping intermittently or has it been rock solid. I've searched around the web for this topic. Of course, a few people have posted here and there about having issues with maintaining a stable connection (e.g. connection not re-establishing automatically after rebooting OPNsense firewall, etc.).
I know that there's always going to be someone out there who has a random issue with something like this, so I don't want to jump to any unwarranted conclusion about the stability or instability of OPNsense's S2S VPN capabilities with Azure. But reliability is the most important issue with respect to my decision to make a jump from pfSense to OPNsence, and I'd appreciate candid feedback if anyone is willing.
Thanks!
