Can't access WebGUI on remote VPN peer

I have an OpenVPN P2P VPN set up between 2 sites both running OPNsense on Protectli boxes. Everything works as intended and network resources are reachable between the sites. The only thing that's not reachable is the WebGUI on OPNsense when trying to access remotely. The error I get is that the site refused to connect. It makes me think that OPNsense is refusing the connection since it's coming from a different subnet that's not within the scope of any of its interfaces. Nothing useful shows up in the firewall logs. Any ideas?

For what it's worth, I had a working P2P setup with Wireguard and the behavior was identical.
