dynamic vlan captive portal

Just curious if it would be possible (without adding another vm) of doing dynamic vlan from the captive portal. I've been looking at PacketFence but i'd much rather keep it local on the firewall for central management.

This does not work because vlans are switch configuration. You can use 802.1x for that purpose.

I understand the logistics (Mostly
) and why it doesn't work. just wondering if it could be done...or added as a plugin or feature. I've been trying to figure out the most efficient way to have just one wireless ssid and ip assignments/ vlans from there without keeping up with certs...problem i'm running into is my iot/roku devices.

IoT devices cannot log in a CP anyway.

true, but with the passthrough by mac that'd not be a major issue.
