future of dnsmasq in opnsense

Hi
a little background - I have somewhat problems with dhcpv4, dhcpv6, radvd and unbound in combination with dynamic ipv6 address assignment (from my provider) , PD to my subnets (track interface enabled) and ULA addresses.
it seems that I cannot have all that with those services. sometimes my ULA get lost on the client or the delegated ipv6 addresses from my provider.
now - as dnsmasq can handle at least dhcpv4, dhcpv6 and radvd - and a good subset of unbound - I'd like to know if there are any plans to remove dnsmasq from opnsense.
My plan is to use a custom config in services > dnsmasq > settings > advanced to setup dhcpv4/6 and slaac
kind regards
