Using bind plugin for name resolution
«

DNS resolution works OK when the plugin is enabled.
Yet I am unable to setup a new zone in UI of the bind plugin. My newly created zone just wouldn't load.
Could anyone advise me on the steps required to create and enable a simplest working test zone with just one A record via UI?
Thanks

The log usually tells you what is missing. I'd guess you need a NS record

Yes, both NS record and A record are needed.
NS record's name field should be left blank.
A record's name fileld should be just the hostname not fqdn.
It works great. Thank you very much.

While forward zone is working OK, I am afraid I am unable to setup a simple reverse lookup zone.
Could anyone advise me on the steps required to create one with just one PTR record via UI?
