Hi all,

Thank you for your patience. We've identified a fix for the issue and are currently testing it. If you'd like to test it as well, please reach out to support for detailed instructions. The fix is scheduled to be included in the 2.0.1 maintenance release later this week.

Hi,

What is the Block Message in Blocks report for these domains?
#18
Hi,

The value range is between 2 and 1024. Therefore, 2048 is not applicable. Additionally, 1024 is not functioning for some users, and we are currently investigating the issue.

Hi,

It seems that a Tunable setting resolves the issue. To fix it, add "dev.netmap.ring_num" with the value "1024" to System - Settings - Tunables or change if it is existing, and then restart OPNsense. After making this change, the Zenarmor engine should function correctly.

Hi,

It seems that there is Synflood attach in your network. Zenarmor reports this. Most probably, synflood attack causes to eat up system resources and Zenarmor engine is crashing. Can you check the reported devices?

The devices with MAC Addresses: 00:0c:29:20:11:20 count:56921
f8:75:a4:cc:70:0b count:5340

Local IP: 192.168.1.222 count:56921, 192.168.1.1 count:4127

You can contact to the support team via Have Feedback option in the bottom left corner of UI. For further details please visit the following link.

Hi,

The domain change appears to impact only the business edition, while the community edition remains unaffected. We have implemented a temporary workaround on the repository server. Starting with the next release, the repository server address in the configuration will be updated to "zenarmor.net".

Hi,

"Advertisements Site Access" means that you blocked Advertisements category in Web Controls as well. If you see ". site access" in Blocked message, that means it is blocking from web category.

Hi,

Please run the command sysctl -a | grep "dev.netmap.buf_num". The value should be max 1000000.

Hi all,

Just to clarify what you saw in the Zenarmor section of the OPNsense interface is not meant for an "ad", but rather serves as a notification about a major new feature.

We understand the importance of keeping the interface clean and relevant, which is why these notifications are used with care and reserved for cases where we believe they'll provide major value to our beloved users.

This was actually the first notification we've published this year. In the past, we've shared links to YouTube videos that explain best practices and real-world use cases, content aimed at helping users get more out of their Zenarmor deployments.
In this particular case, the announcement was related to the newly released macOS agent, which is an important development for network admins who are dealing with distributed workforces.

This was a long-standing, highly requested feature, thus the announcement.

Rest assured that we'll continue to be mindful of how we communicate updates and will always aim to prioritize usefulness over promotion.

Thanks
